On October 14, 2014, New York State announced members of the Ending the Epidemic Task Force (Task Force). The Task Force was established to support the State's three-point plan. The Task Force developed and synthesized recommendations, presented in New York's Blueprint to end the epidemic.

Ending the Epidemic Beyond 2020 Report The Ending the Epidemic (ETE) Addendum Report is a written report that provides an overview of the past five years of New York State's ETE initiatives, as well as a summary of the community feedback sessions that were conducted in 2020 to assist in identifying areas of focus for ETE beyond 2020. New York State's Ending the Epidemic (ETE) effort continues beyond 2020! This video presentation highlights the ETE BEYOND 2020 Report, released in November 2021. The report provides a summary of New York State's ETE planning process, the essential partnerships that support the ETE initiative, and community-identified strategies for ETE beyond 2020.

  • The four committees of the Task Force (Care, Prevention, Housing & Supportive Services and Data) reviewed nearly 300 recommendations submitted online and received during regional Listening Forums held across New York State. Committees used this information to develop 44 committee recommendations (CRs) - including recommendations that move beyond the goal of 750 to zero infections.
