Troubleshooting

1. Staff may tend to preserve "departmental" thinking versus "person-centered" thinking. Hint: Ask them to role play another department member during the exercises or care-plan meeting.
2. If staff is skeptical, have them keep track of meeting time while evaluating resident outcomes for three (3) months. See if the meeting times decrease while resident outcomes improve.
