Opportunity for Public Comment on Pending Assisted Living Residence Applications

Section 4656*2(3) of Article 46-B of the Public Health Law authorizes the New York State Department of Health (the "Department"), the opportunity to solicit and consider public comment on applications received for Assisted Living Residence (ALR), including those seeking additional certification(s) for Enhanced Assisted Living Residence (EALR) and/or Special Needs Assisted Living Residence (SNALR).

Effective July 1, 2019 all applications, including those with an ALR component, are uploaded via the New York State Electronic Certificate of Need (NYSECON) system. Applications submitted to the Department via the NYSECON system may be viewed by accessing the Health Commerce System (HCS) or via https://my.ny.gov. Please refer to DAL #19-16.

The public is invited to review this listing and provide comment pursuant to section 4656 (B-F) on any of the posted applications. All comments should be submitted electronically to ALRPublicMail@health.ny.gov and will be reviewed and considered as part of the application process for the listed facilities.
