#20513- Regional Perinatal Centers
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health (DOH) is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.
The New York State Office of the State Comptroller’s Bureau of Contracts on 7/11/2024 approved a request for exemption from giving notice in the New York State Contract Reporter for the Regional Perinatal Centers to extend the existing contracts for 24 months and add $9 million.
Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firms/entities, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
