CRER #20665 Single Source Procurement: Clinical Education Initiative Contract Enhancement

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute has determined to award a Single Source Procurement to 1 vendor to support continuing medical education to physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, dentists, and pharmacists to enhance their capacity to deliver high-quality healthcare services and to improve patient health outcomes. Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firm/entity, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
