CRER #20669 Single Source Procurement: Hepatitis C Innovative Models
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.
The New York State Department of Health has determined to award a Single Source Procurement to Montefiore Medical Center and Mt. Sinai Hospital to support the Hepatitis C Innovative Models Initiative. This initiative supports the implementation of hepatitis C testing, care and treatment and care coordination in nontraditional settings such as co-location at a syringe exchange program/drug user health hub, onsite at drug treatment programs and via mobile van or telehealth.
Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firm/entity, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
