Single Source Procurement: CRER # 20686 Regional Prevention & Support Services

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health Regional Prevention & Support Services Program has determined to award a Single Source Procurement to two grantees.

These two contracts will support high impact prevention and support services to achieve Ending the Epidemic (ETE) initiative goals. The contractors will continue to provide a comprehensive range of prevention interventions for HIV, Sexually Transmitted Infections and hepatitis C and related services in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firm/entity, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
