CRER #20737 RRDC Amendments
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health, Office of Aging and Long-Term Care has determined to award a single source procurement to extend Regional Resource Development Center contracts C34503GG - C34510GG and C34865GG to January 31, 2026.
A new formal competitive procurement was released for Regional Resource Development Centers for Combined Administration of the Nursing Home Transition and Diversion and Traumatic Brain Injury Medicaid Waivers (RFA #20333/SFS #RRDC2025) and contract execution is in progress. The anticipated start date for the new contracts resulting from this procurement is February 1, 2026. The Nursing Home Transition and Diversion and Traumatic Brain Injury waivers serve approximately 15,000 New Yorkers in the community. This extension will allow services to continue until the new contracts are executed.
Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firm/entity, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
