CRER # 20755 Provision of Harm Reduction Services
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.
The AIDS Institute intends to extend is contract with The Reach Project Inc. for an additional two (2) years to continue to fund the established telemedicine program aimed at increasing access to medications for addiction treatment or medications for opioid use disorder (MAT/MOUD).
Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firm/entity, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
