Single Source Procurement: Harm Reduction Services via Telemedicine
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law §163.10(b), the New York State Department of (DOH) is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.
Through this contract, the Reach Project Inc. will increase access to medications for addiction treatment or medications for opioid use disorder (MAT/MOUD). The contractor will be responsible for providing low threshold harm reduction services via telemedicine to persons with opioid use disorder and for those at risk of overdose.
Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firm/entity, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
