Therapy Services
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.
The New York State Office of the State Comptroller’s Bureau of Contracts on October 21, 2024, approved a request for exemption from giving notice in the New York State Contract Reporter to provide staffing services for the Therapy Services Department at the NYS Veterans Home at Batavia to Affinity Rehabilitation.
Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected entity, a competitive procurement was not feasible because these positions are being transitioned to State staff positions.
