CRER #C000066 Single Source Procurement: Therapy Staffing
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law §163.10(b), the New York State Department of (DOH) is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.
The DOH Health Facilities Management is extending an existing contract with Preferred Therapy Solutions LLC for therapy staffing services at the New York State Veterans’ home at Montrose through September 30, 2026. This extension will provide the Department with a continuation of services and sufficient time to successfully execute a five-year contract resulting from a competitive Request for Proposals.
Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firm/entity, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
