Single Source Procurement: MMIS Quality Assurance

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law §163.10(b), the New York State Department of (DOH) is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.

This contract renewal extends the existing scope where NTT Data provides in-depth support to the Department in assessing and optimizing DDI activities for the current MMIS and any future MMIS or MDW replacement, ongoing performance of the Department’s production MMIS and MDW, as well as transition planning and activities. This contract provides QA services to the Department’s MDW and MMIS systems.

Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firm/entity, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
