Medicaid Redesign Team Transformation Consulting Services Amendment

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law §163.10(b), the New York State Department of (DOH) is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.

Through this contract, PCG assists the Department and State Partners in determining and implementing strategies to come into compliance with the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA). A formal competitive process is not feasible at this time due to the substantial volume of work and tight time frames to come into compliance with these regulations as soon as possible. Given the urgent need to meet regulatory timelines and maintain program continuity, amending the existing contract represents the most efficient and cost-effective solution.

Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firm/entity, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
