Single Source Procurement: Clinical Education Initiative Contract Extensions

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law §163.10(b), the New York State Department of (DOH) is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.

The Initiative offers progressive continuing medical education to physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, dentists, and pharmacists to enhance their capacity to deliver high-quality healthcare services and to improve patient health outcomes.

Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firms/entities, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
