Single Source Procurement: Adolescent/Young Adult HIV Specialized Care Centers Contract Extensions
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law §163.10(b), the New York State Department of (DOH) is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.
These contracts support Adolescent/Young Adult HIV Specialized Care Centers that address the complex medical and non-medical needs of adolescents/young adults living with or at greater risk of HIV acquisition. These Centers provide comprehensive, tailored and coordinated HIV and primary health care, medical case management, and supportive services in clinical settings. A competitive procurement is in process and these extensions will prevent a gap in critical services until the procurement can be completed. New contracts are expected to begin 7/1/2025.
