Single Source Procurement: Medicaid Transportation Extensions
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health Office of Health Insurance Programs has made a determination to issue Single Source Procurements with to Medical Answering Services, LLC (MAS) and ModivCare Solutions LLC (ModivCare). These contracts will allow the vendors to manage and arrange non-emergency medical transportation services during this transition period for these services.
