MEIPASS

To be considered for EHR incentive payments, eligible providers must attest in the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program Administrative Support Service (MEIPASS).

The New York Medicaid EHR Incentive Program is accepting 2017 Modified Stage 2 and Stage 3 Meaningful Use (MU) attestations via the MEIPASS system! Please log into MEIPASS and submit your attestation by the deadline of 10/15/2018 for Payment Year 2017.

Providers who attested for 2016 MU must be approved for payment before they can attest to 2017 MU.

Preparing to Attest

EPs must have the following items in place in order to successfully attest in MEIPASS:

CMS Registration	Prior to attesting, verify your CMS registration information is accurate and up to date. If any information needs to be updated, such as email address or telephone number, correct it in the CMS Registration and Attestation System.
Fee-For-Service Enrollment	EPs must be registered as Fee-For-Service Medicaid providers and enrollment must be active throughout the entire attestation, until payment has been processed. For more information visit eMedNY for more information or call eMedNY Provider Services at 1-800-343-9000.
CEHRT ID	Obtain your EHR Certification ID from the Certified Health IT Product List.
ETIN Certification	EPs must maintain ETIN certification for Medicaid enrollment and program eligibility.
ePACES	The ePACES  username and password are used to submit your attestation online through MEIPASS.
