What: The New York State Advisory Council on Lead Poisoning Prevention will hold a meeting to provide updates on the following: NYS Rental Registry, NYS Lead Poisoning Prevention Program, lead in drinking water and investigation of lead in applesauce.
Date: Wednesday, January 8, 2025
Time: 10 a.m.
Where: The meeting will be held in person and is open to the public at the following locations.
In-person locations:
- Empire State Plaza Concourse, Meeting Room 1, Albany, NY 12242
- Erie County Health Department, 503 Kensington Ave, Buffalo, NY 14214
The meeting may also be viewed via live Webcasting.
Public Comments: Public comment may occur at either in-person location.
Please note: No registration is required to attend the meeting in person.
Public comment can also be submitted in writing in advance of the meeting by emailing lppp@health.ny.gov. Written comments may be received until close of business on January 6, 2025. We request that those who make comments identify themselves and their affiliation.
Webcasts of the meetings are posted on the New York State Department of Health's New York State Advisory Council on Lead Poisoning Prevention website within two weeks following the meeting.
