ALBANY, N.Y. (May 17, 2026) - “The New York State Department of Health is closely monitoring the current Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Department has been briefed by the World Health Organization and remains vigilant. There is no immediate risk to New Yorkers.”
