- EEPI-Centre The Evidence for Policy and Practice Information and Co-ordinating Centre (EPPI-Centre)
- Part of the Social Science Research Unit (SSRU), Institute of Education, University of London. The EPPI-Centre was established in 1993 to address the need for a systematic approach to the organisation and review of evidence-based work on social interventions. The work and publications of the Centre engage health and education policy makers, practitioners and service users in discussions about how researchers can make their work more relevant and how to use research findings.This searchable database contains approximately 10,000 records of existing health promotion effectiveness research.

- Guide to Community Preventive Services
- Also known as the Community Guide, was developed by a, non-Federal Task Force on Community Preventive Services (Task Force), appointed by the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This group was convened in 1996 by the Department of Health and Human Services to provide leadership in the evaluation of community, population, and health care system strategies to address a variety of public health and health promotion topics.
