CDC provides information about guidelines, recommendations, and data related to breastfeeding. They also list reasons why parents stop breastfeeding and how to support them.
CDC’s Early Childhood Nutrition Report, 2025 provides data for all 50 states and the District of Columbia on 16 indicators covering breastfeeding, supports for infant feeding, first solid foods, healthy eating, and affordability of nutritious foods. This report replaces the CDC’s Breastfeeding Report Card.
