Buprenorphine Assistance Program (BUPE-AP)
Buprenorphine Assistance Program (BUPE-AP) covers the cost of Buprenorphine for people who don't have any or enough insurance to cover the cost. Buprenorphine (also known as Suboxone) is used to help you manage your opioid use (heroin, fentanyl, and prescription opioids) and prevents you from having an opioid overdose.

Pharmacy Buprenorphine Assistance Program (BUPE-AP) Resources
Pharmacies must submit claims electronically, using National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) version D.0 including the coordination of benefits (COB) segment of the transaction, if appropriate. The Point-of-Sale system will verify the participant's eligibility and specific drug coverage as well as process and adjudicate claims. Claims must be submitted using the following payer information:
