MRSA Surveillance and the New York State Emerging Infections Program
Active, population-based surveillance for invasive disease due to methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is conducted in Monroe County by the University of Rochester as part of the Healthcare-Associated Infections – Community Interface (HAIC) component of the Emerging Infections Program (EIP).
