What is a Big Band Intervention?
Purpose of the program
To use music from the past to assist residents with dementia, who do not participate actively with out cueing in other music activities, to recall their personal history and increase opportunities for positive social interaction with all levels of staff leading to improve mood and an enhanced quality of life.
