RE: Clarification #5 for Measurement Year (MY) 2022 Updates
Dear Colleague,
This letter contains information about edits incorporated into the 2022 Quality Assurance Reporting Requirements (QARR) Technical Specifications for Measurement Year (MY) 2022 reporting. The information contained in this clarification has been incorporated into a revised version of the QARR MY2022 Value Sets. The updated file is posted on our Managed Care Information for Health Planspage. The revised specifications should be used in plans' processing for MY2022 QARR.
This clarification includes the following changes made to the 2022 QARR Technical Specifications Manual:
Change Version | Version Date | Section(s) Changed | Change Summary | 5 | 7.12.22 | Value Set | The previous version of the QARR 2022 Value Set incorrectly categorized all "NYS Visits" and "NYS POS" value sets as "Group 1" instead of splitting them into "Group 1" & "Group 2." The value set file has been updated, and now includes the value sets "NYS Visits Group 1," "NYS Visits Group 2," "NYS POS Group 1," and "NYS POS Group 2." |

If there are any questions about the above edits, or if you find issues or have concerns with the 2022 Technical Specifications manual or other documents, please email nysqarr@health.ny.gov.
