RE: Clarification #7 for Measurement Year (MY) 2025 Updates

Dear Colleague,

This letter contains information about the MY2025 PLD File Specifications (PDF) and the MY2025 Language Value Set. The files are posted on our Managed Care Information for Health Plans page. The revised specifications should be used in the plans' processing for MY2025 QARR.

This clarification includes the following changes made to the MY2025 QARR reporting requirements.

    • Updated Breast Cancer Screening (BCS-E) age stratification to align with HEDIS specifications
    MY2025 Language Value Sets The MY2025 Language Value Set has been updated as follows:
  • SIGN (171) has been removed for MY2025
  • Previously listed AMERICAN SIGN (009) should be assigned for all sign language.
  • Language Code (171), as previously assigned, should be used for CHINESE - No Sub-Dialect Indicated
