Clinical Staffing Independent Advisory Commission

The Independent Advisory Commission related to PHL Chapter 45, 2805-t Clinical staffing committees and disclosure of nursing quality indicators, started meeting in June 2024 once quorum was reached. The committee was fully appointed by early November. While this is an independent Commission, the Department assisted in starting discussions by convening the group and hosting the meetings. The Department also provided them with charts and clinical staffing annual reports.

The Commission has taken official actions including to appoint co-chairs. They also requested the Department provide conflict resolution training, which the Department is coordinating. The Commission continues its work.
