Episodic Payment System for Certified Home Health Agencies
Minimum Wage Adjustment - Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester and NYC

Dear Administrator:
The CHHA Episodic rates for the period January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2020, include minimum wage adjustments to reimburse CHHA EPS providers the uniform additional hourly add-on amount through a uniform percentage. The minimum wage rates for NYC CHHA EPS have been increased by 9.92% for 2018 and 8.17% for 2019 to reflect the minimum wage in New York City.
The minimum wage rates for Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties for the CHHA EPS have been increased by 5.54% for 2018, 4.8% for 2019 and 4.55% for 2020 to reflect the increases in the minimum wage in those counties.
The payment for these rates will be made in cycle 2273, check release date March 31, 2021.
The revised CHHA episodic Medicaid payment rates effective January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2020 is now available on the Health Commerce System (HCS) website and NYS DOH public site.
