Dear Administrator:
This letter provides information about your Personal Care and/or Consumer Directed Medicaid reimbursement rates effective October 1, 2022. The State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2022-23 Enacted Budget provided for a Minimum Wage increase for home care aides of two dollars effective October 1, 2022.
Effective October 1, 2022, the Minimum Wage rate adjustment for Home Care Aides increased by $2 plus an adjustment for corresponding Fringe Benefits.
The provider-specific rates have been posted for your information on the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) and Personal Care Rates websites.
The payment for the October 1, 2022, rates to effectuate the Minimum Wage increase will be made in Cycle 2356 with a Check Date of October 24, 2022, and a Check Release Date of November 9, 2022.
