Dear Commissioner Banks:
This letter is to inform you of the publication of the enclosed revised Medicaid rates effective April 1, 2022 and October 1, 2022 for NYC Personal Care providers under contract with your office.
The State Fiscal Year 2022-23 Enacted Budget provided for a 1 percent increase in provider reimbursement rates retroactive to April 1, 2022 and for a Minimum Wage increase for home care aides of two dollars effective October 1, 2022. Effective October 1, 2022, the Minimum Wage rate adjustment for Home Care Aides increased by $2 plus an adjustment for corresponding Fringe Benefits.

The payment for these two rate adjustments to effectuate the 1% Enhancement and Minimum Wage increase will be made in Cycle 2357 with a Check Date of October 24, 2022 and a Check Release Date of November 9, 2022.
