DAL-CHHA Medicaid Reimbursement Rates

Dear Administrator:
This letter provides information about your Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) Episodic Medicaid reimbursement rates effective October 1, 2022. The State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2022-23 Enacted Budget provided for a Minimum Wage increase for home care aides of two dollars effective October 1, 2022. This rate increase was applied to the April 1, 2022 rates available in eMedNY as outlined below:
- Downstate (Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester) CHHA Episodic - 5.25% increase.
- NYC CHHA Episodic - 5.61% increase.
- Rest of State CHHA Episodic - 3.56% increase.
The provider-specific rates have been posted for your information here.
The payment for the October 1, 2022, rates to effectuate the Minimum Wage increase will be made in Cycle 2356 with a Check Date of October 24, 2022 and a Check Release Date of November 9, 2022.
