Dear Medicaid Administrator:

RE: Revised January, April and October 2022 Medicaid Fee-For-Service (FFS) Post Appeal 90 Day Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA) Pediatric Rates

These Calendar Year (CY) 2022 pediatric cost-based rates have been revised to correct a system calculation issue. The initial 2022 Pediatric Regional Group Ceilings and the Statewide Average Admin Cap calculations used only Pediatric CHHA CY 2020 Cost Report submissions. The system has been updated and rates have been re-calculated consistent with past practice, using all CHHA FFS data.

The latest 2022 Medicaid Fee-for-Service rate sheets for the CHHA providers are available on the Health Commerce System (HCS) Gateway. The Attachment A enclosure provides instructions on how to access the 2022 rate sheets.

Facility-specific pediatric rates are available on the NYS Department of Health's website

These rates will take effect in eMedNY in cycle 2475, with a check release date of February 12, 2025.

ATTACHMENT A: Accessing the 2022 FFS Medicaid Rates in the Health Commerce System Gateway

Instructions:

Login to HCS: https://commerce.health.state.ny.us/public/hcs_login.html

Under "My Applications" tab heading in the upper left corner, select Healthcare Finance Data Gateway(or go to "My Content" from the top line menu, then All Applications to search for the application under "C" for CHHA);

Click on the Publications section of this new application;

Under Organization Type, select "Home Health Agencies" from the drop down menu;

Under Collection, select the following "Jan, April or October 2022 90 Day Post Appeals v2.2" from the drop down menu;

Under Package, select "Jan, April or October 2022 90 Day Post Appeals v2.2" from the drop down menu:

Under Organization, select your agency, then click the Search button;

Next select Download.
