The NYS Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Program does not impact how Medicaid-funded personal care services (PCS) and home health care services (HHCS) are determined or delivered, only how EVV-applicable services are captured. Any questions regarding the Medicaid program, service determination, service or hour utilization, and/or service documentation or staffing concerns should be directed to the appropriate NYS agency. For further assistance, providers and fiscal intermediaries (FI) should contact NYSDOH or the Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), and beneficiaries and family members should contact their Local Department of Social Services (LDSS) or managed care plan.
