Introduction

  • EVV Interface Control Document (ICD)
    • Has been posted here
    • NYSDOH will be closing the public comment period when the EVV Technical Survey closes
    • Final ICD will be posted the last week in June 2020
  • NYSDOH EVV Technical Survey
    • Gather information on how organizations are planning to submit EVV Data to eMedNY
    • The intended participants of this survey are: providers subject to EVV requirements; EVV vendors; MCOs; and Verification Organizations.
    • This survey is intended to collect technical implementation data, and so you may need the assistance of your technical staff or software vendor to assist you in your answers.
    • Survey was sent out via the EVV and eMedNY Listservs on June 2nd, 2020, please email EVVHelp@health.ny.gov for a link to the survey
      • NYSDOH would appreciate your responses to the survey by June 19th, 2020

Technical Updates

  • Upcoming Pilot Testing
    • NYSDOH will be reaching out to a select few organizations who expressed an interest in Pilot testing via the survey and/or EVVHelp@health.ny.gov
    • Pilot testing will allow EVV Submitters to test connection and ability to transmit EVV data
  • Companion Guide
    • NYSDOH will be publishing a Companion Guide by late summer, 2020
    • Provide details on the EVV transaction to specify data content, so that it can be transmitted to the Representational State Transfer (REST)ful Application Programming Interface (API)
  • Onboarding EVV Submitters into eMedNY
