Process for Filling Vacancies:
Vacancies resulting from a Council member's resignation shall be filled with candidates who meet the requirements of the membership as provided for in Public Health Law § 1370-b.

Expenses/Reimbursement:
For members requiring travel to attend meetings, NYSDOH will provide reimbursement for receipted transportation expenses (mileage, tolls, parking), lodging (at the current government rate), and an allowance for meals.
