Thank you for your recent request for an amendment of the New York section 1115 demonstration titled, “New York Medicaid Redesign Team” (Project Number 11-W-00114/2). The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) received New York’s health equity reform amendment application on September 2, 2022. We reviewed the new components proposed through this amendment in accordance with 42 CFR 431.412(a) and find the state’s application to be complete.

New York’s amendment application will be posted on Medicaid.gov for a 30-day federal comment period in accordance with 42 CFR 431.416(b). The state’s application will be available here.
