Statewide Early Intervention Coordinating Council

The Early Intervention Coordinating Council (Council) is a 30-member advisory council established in Section 2553 of the Public Health Law PHL 2553. The Council assists the New York State Department of Health (Department) with the administration of the Early Intervention Program and makes recommendations to the Department regarding appropriate services for infants and toddlers with disabilities and their families.

Early Intervention Coordinating Council Meetings for 2026 and 2027

Remote Locations – The public may attend Council meetings at the remote locations. You will need to email your intention to attend meetings, and which location, to bei.eicc@health.ny.gov by 1:00 pm on the business day before the meeting. If there are no Council members or members of the public indicating attending at a remote site by then, the site will not be available. Check under the meeting date the day of the meeting for location updates.
