To update and clarify information, New York State (NYS) is reissuing a revised version of the CFTSS Manual. For ease of review, we have outlined the major edits below.
Edits Made to the CFTSS Manual:

| Section II: Overview: Home and Community Settings | Language added to clarify appropriate provision of CFTSS in community and school settings. |
| Section III: Services: Individual Staff Qualifications | Language added to clarify the restriction of services provided by a family member to a CFTSS-enrolled child/youth. |
| Section IV: Limitations and Exclusions | Clarified and streamlined service limitations and exclusions into one section, previously included under each service section. |
| Section VI: Utilization Management | MCTAC UM Authorization Grid resource added to direct providers to Managed Care Plan UM information. |
| Section VIII: Billing and Coding of CFTSS: F: CFTSS Billing | Recommended Unit Ranges guidance with consideration to Medical Necessity, clinically appropriate ranges and individual treatment needs. |
